To A New Beggining!!

One of my new years resolutions was to be more creative this year. Now it is already mid-February and I have yet to start my resolutions. This year I only have three.

One; Be more creative.
Two; Eat healthier.
Three; Learn to run.

It is then a matter of working out how each goal of the year will be achieved. I do need to battle my never-ending ability to procrastinate and waste away most of my spare time in front of the computer or television. Both of which are mind-numbing activities. I want to awaken my mind. To feel it blossom like a flower. To soak up the sun and enjoy the day.

So we are back to the issue of how to achieve my goals. Creativity can be channeled into so many things. And I intend to use this blog as a motivator. It will cover a range of creativity. I shall draw inspiration from other blogs, life, art, books, from everything and everyone I encounter. From the people I pass in the street to the book store in Newtown stuffed full of books. I shall cook my favourite cakes, learn to sew, rediscover drawing (and eventually painting), to learn to take amazing photos. To explore Sydney and do cheesy tourist things. I will hand make next Christmas, every gift and card I give!

As for eating healthier I shall endeavor to give those sweet delights away to those at work. I will think like a rabbit – salad equals a good thing. I shall drink more water and less soft drinks and alcohol. I will be adventurous with my food. Learn to cook new and interesting healthy things! Try new flavours in my travels.
Learning to run. I have always wanted to run and run and run. Not to run out of breath but to feel the wind whistling past me and my feet flying over the ground. Sure I can run for a little while, then almost have my poor lungs decide they hate me and I have to stop after 5 minutes to heave in breaths. I want to run like the wind (for at least half an hour). This will take dedication to exercise. Which I hate doing, but I WILL do it!

And that concludes my first post to this blog I need to make my own.
